Alphabet Test - Harfler Testi

The following test is from an actual examination paper used in Turkish schools for second grade pupils. It asks about their knowledge of vowel harmony by asking about the differences between narrow and wide vowels.
It also asks questions about hard and soft consonants together with some spelling rules.

It may help the new Turkish learner to realize the difference between narrow and wide vowels - which is useful in understanding Vowel Harmony Rules plus the differences between hard and soft consonants - which is useful in understanding Consonant Mutation (Change) Rules.

Hint: The wide (kalın) vowels are the A-Undotted group of vowels.
